"I really loved learning with Amy, it was in person which felt comfortable and after each session I felt more and more clued up and knowledgeable about my body and birth.

I also loved the relaxation scripts, a great way to end the session and helped me and my partner get a proper nights sleep! Amy clued up my husband, and he felt really valued and was able to take on a big role in the birth.

My labour didn't go to plan as my little boy decided to make an appearance 3 weeks early, however I found myself focusing on my breathing and affiramations which helped me get through the first part of an induction labour. I also welcomed each contraction because I knew (thanks to hypnobirthing) what my body was doing and that each one would bring baby closer!

I ended up with a C-section as it was just too early for my body to labour, however I was able to navigate what induction I wanted (water birth vs laying on a bed) I would highly recommend (especially to first time mums!)"

"I used to pass out to pain so although I was sceptical about hypnobirthing my partner and I decided to give it a go. Whatever I thought hypnobirthing was I was wrong! After our sessions I felt more informed and empowered to be a part of my birth story. My partner also felt hugely involved and was a massive help on the day, holding my space for me and answering any questions so I could focus. We arrived after 4 hours of contractions and I was already 8cm, a quick hop into the pool and 2 hours later I was in transition, my baby boy then arrived in his waters an hour later!

My body was tired but intact and I was overwhelmed by the joy and pride I felt. Hypnobirthing allowed me to understand every stage of labour for me and for my baby, I learnt how to work with my body and prepare my mind.
